PROBLEM: Resurface nosing of steps to fix excessive slope
SOLUTION: Apply Arisfor ToughDeck inside wooden frames to reshape steps
These steps at Clarion University were unsafe because of the excessive slope on each of the nosing. It was important that Clarion University fix the steps promptly to make the steps safe again for students who are using these to access parking lots and shopping facilities. To fix the steps, wooden frames were measured and fastened, then filled with Arisfor ToughDeck. The steps are now level and safe for students. Members of Clarion’s maintenance staff were pleased with the finished look and were impressed with the fast dry time.
